House was very clean. The view from the back porch was stunning. Overall very relaxing and enjoyable.

Seriously, the photos don’t do this place justice. There were very nice bedrooms, well laid out, comfortable and warm. The kitchen actually was stocked with all the pots/pans and pieces needed to make meals for many people (unlike other place we’ve stayed at). There were many small little areas for BBQ’ing or roasting smores by fire (and we tried all of them). It was the quintessential cabin get away. Many wonderful small touches but not over done. Highly recommended. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat. (and really they should update the photos to be representative of how great the place is).

The Halfmoon Bay cottage is a wonderful, inviting property. There is a beautiful elevated view of the ocean with a great seating area under a covered portion of the giant deck, as well as a couple of chairs against the railing to have a drink or a quiet dinner for two. We made the most of the play area which included a zipline and trampoline for the kids. They were out there every chance they could get. Very clean and well outfitted, the cottage is extremely welcoming, it feels like staying at a friends’ cottage. The ocean is accessible by a couple of quick paths down to the water. The owner was easily accessible by text and phone. We have no hesitation in returning to Halfmoon Bay Cottage and are looking forward to our next visit.

The cottage was perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends. Check in was easy, very thorough info on the cottage was provided and it was well equipped. We especially loved the covered patio where we could enjoy the stunning view rain or shine!

What a beautiful property, and such generous hosts! The pictures do not do it justice. It’s a perfect and peaceful oasis amidst the trees, wandering trails nearby and you are left wanting nothing with all of the considerations taken by Hart and family. Perfect for a weekend away to soak in the tub, sip a coffee on a perfect deck with the sun peaking through the forest, or to just listen to the wind chimes while taking in a few pages. Truly enjoyed ourselves. We hope to return!

This is our second time staying here and it was perfect. The views can’t be beat and the house has everything you need. Even in the rain it was wonderful to sit out on the covered deck by the fire. Highly recommend and I look forward to staying here again soon!

Beautiful and well equipped cottage that was perfect for our family weekend getaway. Everything was a breeze from booking to check in and communication with the owners. So much room to relax and for the kids to explore and play. View is fantastic. We would definitely book again.

the cabin is perfect! everything you need is here. the outdoor fire pit(s) plus an indoor fireplace/stove makes chilly mornings or evenings cozy. love the outdoor shower! beds comfortable with nice plain (tasteful) good quality linens. probably the nicest spot we have rented. perfect for family gathering. lots of fun for kids – the property is great for kids and adults
