Hi Hart – just wanted to follow up and let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your lovely place. The Christmas decorations were just amazing and such a nice surprise. I had been telling people that we were having an early Christmas gathering, and wow, you delivered!

My kids looked after all the food and cooking and they were really happy to discover everything they needed to lay out a huge charcuterie spread, plus everything else you could ask for, for every other dish they made. The beds were comfy, the hot tub was amazing, the deck seating and cozy fire was stellar, the wood stove was so nice, all the games, the abundance of towels and just a great layout of your place that totally makes sense. We also really appreciated all the helpful labels!

Thank you so much for being so generous with your very special place and allowing us to create some great memories.

We did end up changing the ferry times to the 6:00 pm sailing as the kids all agreed they really didn’t want to leave.

This was our second stay, and as the 4 year old said,”This is the best vacation ever!” From 4-70 we all had a relaxing, de-stressing time at this quiet, peaceful property! Definitely recommend this clean, well equipped cottage!

Recently stayed at the Pfortmueller’s beautiful cottage on halfmoon bay. It was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The property is so lovely that you won’t want to leave, but if you do it’s just a short stroll to beaches, hiking trails, and an awesome general store that sells everything you need (including wine, beer, etc). Highly recommend this wonderful property!!! In addition, Hart (and his son David, who we met upon arrival) are very friendly and helpful. They make the whole place feel like you’re home!

This was one of the best if not the best rental property we have stayed at in years. When you go for a few days it is so much more relaxing to be able to stay at a place that feels like you have rented from friends. It is well very well stocked, well maintained and they have done an outstanding job setting up and renovating the property. Just to give one example, for those going in the winter the woodstove is wonderful and they have lots of kindling and firewood. Great outdoor living spaces and options for both couples and families. We loved exploring the area and Halfmoon Bay has a nice community feel to it. I often write, we will be back but this time i mean it.

My family (wife two kids and two grandparents) loved our stay in half moon bay. The purpose of the trip was a quiet relaxing time to get the family together and we got that. The location was perfect for a relaxing trip, there are enough local walks to keep everyone interested, a picture perfect view, awesome hot tub. We have had multi trips to the SSC and this was one of our better locations, we all wanted one extra night for sure. The apartment has everything you could want and if we are able to book it we awould absolutely return to this accomodation

We had such a relaxing weekend staying here. The hot tub was wonderful, beds very comfortable, and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen! There was also a high chair and pack n play for our baby which was handy. Hart was quick to answer all of our questions and check in was easy.
